Carpets by Alexandra Kehayoglou
These carpets are made from wool, often from the leftovers of the production of other products in the factory, carrying a strong message of sustainability.
I think this one’s my favourite.
U.P. botanical gardens
Wow, what is this?
Looks like Horsetail.
I wish I checked to see what this was called
It looks like a Didiereaceae (Fantsiolotse) just a guess!
Fasciated daisy — Fasciated stems are produced due to abnormal activity in the growing tip of the plant. Often an abnormal number of flowers are produced on affected stems. Normal branches may arise from fasciated stems. Fasciation is unpredictable and is usually limited to a single stem. It seldom recurs the following year.
The Jabuticaba (Brazilian grape tree) does not use branches to grow fruits. It grows fruits (and flowers) directly on the trunk.
The fruit is extremely nice, I had it during my last visit.
The image of this however, just creeps me the fuck out.

Dancing Dead Leaves by Yunfan Tan
Have you ever danced with the devil by the pale moonlight? Batman has, but surely the fallen leaves that have given their lives annually for a few thousand millennia know that feel as well, though Yunfan believes that need not be a saddening sacrifice: looping the withering process and turning it into an endless dance, the leaves’ way of saying this isn’t goodbye… just we’ll do this again next year.
